Dr. Yu is a board-certified endodontist who is passionate about helping patients save their natural teeth and feel at ease throughout their treatment. Originally from Taiwan, she started her dental career as a general dentist before choosing to specialize in endodontics—the field focused on treating tooth pain and performing root canal therapy.

Dr. Yu received advanced training in endodontics at Taipei Veterans General Hospital and later earned her DMD, Master’s Degree, and Endodontic Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania. She also served as a full-time faculty member and Clinic Director at Penn, where she helped train the next generation of endodontists.

Now practicing in New York, Dr. Yu continues to teach as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and stays active in research and education. She has lectured at dental conferences around the world and teaches microsurgical techniques to other endodontists.
